Deepika Padukone’s Yellow MET Gala After Party Outfit Is No Coincidence

Deepika Padukone stunned us all in her over the top Barbie inspired gown by designer Zac Posen that she wore for the MET gala held recently in New York. But what has our attention is the after party in her vintage wonder throwing major old Hollywood style our way.
Her Zac Posen yellow vintage number was kept chic with a jacket and bag by the designer brand Off White, with Lorraine Schwartz turquoise blue earrings. Keeping the exaggerated ponytail from the MET event, and adding on some big framed cat eye sunglasses.
But here is the kicker, our falcon eyes spotted a cheeky trend of ‘yellow’ the now international actress has been spotted wearing at the biggest events in the West. We’re on to you Deepika!
This year wasn’t the first time we saw Deepika wear her favourite colour, for her first appearance at the MET Gala in 2018, the actress picked a velvet jacket by designer label Sandro Paris and teamed it with faux leather skin tight pants and black pumps.
2017 was prime Deepika year in Hollywood, and you guessed it, she chose her favourite after party colour by wearing a Ralph Lauren collection silk one shoulder evening gown for the Golden Globes awards after party.
Not an after party, but on day two of events during the Cannes Film Festival, 2017, Deepika served us those flared slit sleeves on a sexy platter in her ‘Ami’ dress by Solace London which honestly, we’d wear even in 2019!
